Dear blog,
I've given a junior intern some wise ways of extracting blood specimen for pediatrics and geriatrics patient today. i guess that's a humbling thought for him to approach me every time i come to the emergency room to volunteer himself to extract a patient. and me, i am just happy for myself i have come far enough to handle them. i guess i owe it to the people who have patiently taught me to do the same thing these interns are doing right at the moment.
I had a really good time with these peeps. a good experience, i must say, to share a laugh with these future doctors with the patients despite their ill condition :). our patient had made us laugh today. she's a funny old woman with a great humor. :).
they balances the energy i have wasted to my work today. so i guess a good reason to..

While a doctor is taking an IV line for a kid patient.
A: "Doctor, can I have a sample taken in your line?"
Doctor: No response.
A: Standing a minute waiting for her reply.
Doctor: "Here get here."
A: Trying to get in the line. Pushing hard to get sample taken. A bit waisted. Almost giving up.
Nurse: "You can sip it."
A: "Sip it if you like."
A: "Doctor, can I have a sample taken in your line?"
Doctor: No response.
